Known for keeping his private life out of the spotlight, German singer Johannes Oerding has for the first time shared some rare words about his new romantic partner. The 43-year-old musician, who usually avoids public comments about his relationships, opened up slightly during a recent charity event.

While the identity of Oerding’s new girlfriend has not been officially confirmed, rumours have been circulating. Despite the secrecy, the singer did speak about a long journey the two recently undertook together.

At RTL’s charity football event Kicken mit Stars, Oerding was asked whether the couple’s world trip had brought them closer. His answer was both humorous and telling:

“Let’s put it this way: if you’re travelling for weeks on end in a space of four square metres and four wheels, and you make it out alive, you’ve definitely done something right.”

Beyond that, Oerding remained reserved on the topic of love. He even admitted that the questions posed were “quite good,” but left the matter of his relationship status deliberately vague.

When pressed further on whether the love between them had deepened during their travels, his reply was evasive yet warm: “I’m always surrounded by love.” A diplomatic response, but one that suggests a positive emotional environment.

Who Is the Woman by His Side?

According to speculation, the woman in question is believed to be Yvonne G., a digital creator who has previously worked on Johannes Oerding’s social media team. Although neither Oerding nor Yvonne G. have confirmed the relationship publicly, their connection gained attention last year when both names appeared on a death notice for Oerding’s father.

German broadcaster BRISANT had previously contacted the artist’s management to confirm the rumours, but Oerding declined to comment on his personal life.

End of an Era: The Split from Ina Müller

Before this new chapter, Johannes Oerding was in a long-term relationship with TV presenter and singer Ina Müller. The couple spent more than a decade together before separating in 2023 after twelve years.

Despite keeping much of their relationship private, the two were widely regarded as one of the media industry’s most admired pairs. They occasionally shared the stage, performing duets at each other’s concerts.

In a joint statement released at the time of their breakup, both emphasised that they remained close on both a personal and professional level. The two first met in 2011 during an episode of Inas Nacht, Müller’s late-night show.

Whether Ina Müller is now also in a new relationship remains unknown. However, fans may find clues in her upcoming album, which is set to be released soon.
